Self defense preparedness while traveling is the main topic of this episode. Topics such as what guns to keep in your vehicle as well as knives, first aid kits and general preparedness items. Jon Hodoway joins me to discuss what he keeps in his truck in case he needs to defend himself and his family while traveling. I think you will gain some valuable information from this episode. Thanks for downloading and listening.

Wow Bob! Wow. This show with John Hodoway was probably your best ever. I LOVED hearing about his vehicle load out and it really got me thinking about how to outfit my own truck. I even saved this podcast on my phone! It was THAT interesting. So much better than the constant “training” drumbeat! Keep up the good work and be safe out there.

Great stuff Bob! Really enjoyed this podcast and look forward to you doing your survival/preparedness version again someday. On a side for Jon…glad he likes his Knight’s Armament SR-15. If he bought it in the last four years, then I turned his barrel for him. I’m a machinist at Knight’s and I turn barrels all day while listening to great podcasts like yours. Keep up the good work!

How do you feel about some sort of lock system on your “Trunk” gun. Something that prevents someone from breaking in your car, finding your gun, and just grabbing it.

I think it’s a good idea. Some type of safe in the trunk is probably best. I might actually do a podcast on that soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m pretty sure he did buy it within the last 4 years. How ironic, you’re the guy that turned his barrel. I’ll send him an email and let him know. Thanks a lot for listening.
