Inexpensive revolvers are the main topic of this episode. Many people who are on a tight budget but also have the need to obtain a firearm for self defense should consider an inexpensive revolver. This episode features a special guest, Glen Tate to discuss this subject. You’ll also hear some excellent listener voice mails and my response.

Everyone’s concealed carry situation is different. So I decided to talk about carrying whatever gun you can get away with. This episode is primarily inspired by a thread on the GRRN forum, in my subforum. What gun is enough gun? What can you carry in your particular situation? There are advantages and disadvantages to every gun and every gun is a compromise of some sort. Do you need more than one gun? Also, I received some EXCELLENT voice mails regarding the aftermath of a self defense shooting, campus concealed carry, and slide stop levers, so I answer those as well. Thanks for downloading and listening. Bob Mayne, HandgunWorld Podcast.

Two Smith and Wesson pistols are reviewed in this episode. First, Pablo from New Mexico reviews his Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .38 special revolver. He does a nice job with the good and the bad about this revolver. Next, I review my Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380 semi automatic pistol. I’ve shot several hundred rounds through it and as usual, I give you my honest review of it. I will post an upcoming Youtube video review of it shortly. Many thanks to Pablo for this excellent review. Please keep the gun reviews or audio comments coming! Bob Mayne, HandgunWorld Show.

Revolvers are a good choice for a self defense handgun. They are not my first choice, but at the request of a listener, I did this show on my experience shooting 2 particular revolvers. James Kimmerle and I went to a range, rented 2 .357 magnum revolvers and we give you our straight talk review on them.
