Each time I failed to hit the thumb lock was when I said how it’s easy snick it off . .As soon as I say it, I miss it.
I agree on the weight , but one gets used to it.
1911s don’t lend themselves well to spray and pray ,true enough.But that’s just my opinion.
I carry mine daily. Higher capacity isn’t a talisman any more than simply having a gun to begin with . Sam taught me well how to use old Slabsides .It’s more complicated than the X-box set would like ,true ,but nothing that someone conversant with a screwdriver can’t handle.
LE usage isn’t the ringing endorsement that it is made out to be. The line coppers don’t pick the weapon, the accountants do.
