CCW discussion seems to center around ammo, compact and subcompact guns, holsters, belts and magazines. So this episode has a little of all of these in it. I interviewed Jason Christensen and Un-named Trucker. Jason is the owner of Concealment Solutions and Un-named trucker is from the Roadgunner Podcast. We discussed the SIG 1911 that trucker is carrying, the new Sidewinder holster that Jason is making, the .357SIG round and even some airsoft gun discussion. I also had a chance to speak to Herman Gunter from the Pro Arms team recently and although that conversation is not on this podcast, I talk about some of that discussion regarding .357SIG and .40 caliber guns. The Taurus PT92 is directly based on the Beretta design because Taurus bought a manufacturing center in Brazil that Beretta was selling with the tooling included. This why there is no issue between the companies.

Your right about 357 sig during the ammo meltdown the only two handgun rounds you could get in SW Missouri was 357sig and 45gap.They do make glock gen4 in 357 sig go to http://www.gunbroker.com and type in 264672854 or just type in glock gen4 and their will be a list of all gen 4.
To follow up with what Mike said earlier, the original Beretta 92 manufactured in 1975 had a frame mounted safety… the Taurus PT92 is based off the original design (whose patent had expired), not the more recent design with the slide mounted safety/decocker.
IMHO, frame mounted safeties don’t get in the way when racking the slide with an over-hand grip, the way slide mounted safeties do.
