Who would have thought that Yogurt and Handguns would exist in the same news story? Well, they did, I’ll cover that in the show. I also discuss the possibility of concealed carry in Wisconsin and how the opposition to CCW in that state is putting out false and inaccurate information. It’s the same bogus argument most anti gun people use. I also do an assessment of the mid term election results and what they mean for our gun rights. You’ll also hear about some criticism of my show and my answer to it. This is a shorter show than usual and I normally don’t put these out on weekends, but I wanted to get this one out there as soon as possible.

On your story about yogurt vs. handgun, while at first glance it does seem funny, it is something that could have been serious. Here in Montana we had a case where 2 bread truck drivers passed each other on a highway several times a week. They would play practical jokes on each other until one day when one driver threw a water ballon at the other truck. Sounds harmless, but when you account for the speed of 60 miles per hour each way adding up to 120 miles per hour the ballon would be traveling and the fact water is a solid, it was no surprise that the ballon went through the windshield! That is a missle! But the fact that they were going the same way, it is a little much to call it a missle. So the officer did have a valid concern, but maybe this is streching it a bit.

Just went and looked a little further into the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort. Sheesh. Lots of “more death” and “more crime” statements, but no real effort put into backing any of that up. My journalism instructors back in college would have sprained their wrists from writing “needs backup” over and over. Scare tactics at its finest.
Most anti gun organizations can’t back up their claims. Especially the Brady Campaign. I wonder if WI Anti Violence Effort is affiliated with the Brady Campaign?
The “missile” sounds like a legal term. If you read any state’s penal code, they give funny names to things. To be correct we need to look at the legal definition of a “missile” in the local laws. I don’t know what law it was, but the local definition could say something like “a missile as defined in this section is any object, thrown from a moving vehicle, at another vehicle, on a state or local roadway, that is not designed for use on a highway.” Some of the legal definitions get really broad.
