This episode is about red dot optics on pistols and a review of the SIG 556 rifle. There’s a huge movement to putting red dot optics onepistolary just like those on rifles. This episode explains why and what products to consider. Jack Rumbaugh is my guest again to discuss both of these weapon systems. Thanks for downloading and listening.

Nice work on bringing more attention to my favorite rifle. I am a former Marine but opted for the SIG 556 in 2008 as opposed to the AR because of reliability, hatred of cleaning a rifle more than shooting it, stainless steel upper, ability to fold the stock and all around badassness! Mine loves 75gr BTHP match handloads with LC brass, 25gr of BLC-2 powder. They are an affordable alternative to the Mk262 Mod 0 rounds. My rifle wears a Millet DMS 1-4X on a LaRue LT-104 mount, Sampson folding front sight and Troy folding rear sight. Pics available upon request. Good show!
