Recently Dick Metcalf, long time gun writer for Guns and Ammo Magazine was fired for his most recent column. I also received an iTunes comment that said I am hurting the 2nd amendment cause. So I decided to weigh in on both of these events. I also changed my mind on an issue that you will hear about in this episode. Several listeners also called in some very good voice mails.

Bob, that was a good podcast.
You missed the mark on the “well regulated” phrase from the second amendment. It means, kept regular, meaning up to a standard. This was intended to ensure that when the militia was called up to serve the US, they would all have their weapons and be similar enough for the government to supply ammo and replacements.
