A little over a week ago I competed at the Double Tap Championship (USPSA) in Wichita Falls, TX. Although I didn’t do as well as I wanted, I’m glad I took on the challenge. Competition does help you improve your ability to shoot fast and accurately. Why would that be a bad thing? So in this episode, I interviewed people at the range who were shooting with me and also recorded some of the stage descriptions given by the RO’s of the match. Also, Steve Zopfi and Rick Brenneman from the PowerFactor Show joined me for a discussion after day one as to what we liked, disliked and some success and failure stories. This episode is as close to being as I can bring you in an audio podcast. I think you’ll enjoy it. Thanks for downloading and listening. Links are posted on the GRRN forum. Glad you could make it. I was the stage 7 CRO. Porter puts on some great matches monthly as well as the annual DTC. It’s great to see all the shooters; LEOs, Juniors, and competitors that I only get to visit with several times a year. Hope everyone makes it back to the same place in September, for the Area IV match.
