Holsters and Methods of Carry.  In this episode I discuss some personal experience on holsters and carry positions.  Where should you carry?  What holster to use and how quick can you draw?  This can be a controversial subject with different opinions from everyone.

Highlights:

  • Leather vs. Kydex holsters
  • Appendix carry vs strong side carry
  • Crossdraw carry
  • Belts (the most important part)
  • Pocket carry and pocket holsters for your handgun

    Great show.

How do you deal with the fact that when carrying AIWB, the is muzzle is so close to a certain important body part? Not that you or I have poor draw technique, but I’d be worried about shooting it off, especially when under stress. I do however like the idea of a quicker draw, and it seems I’d have to worry less about printing with AIWB. Thanks

Good question, I’ve become so used to it and confident, it doesn’t bother me anymore. I wouldn’t recommend that a newbie carry this way though.
