AR Pistols are easy to conceal and powerful. So I invited Glen Tate on the show to discuss how they can fit into your defensive needs. This episode also starts with an interview of a listener named Brad, at the shooting range on different pistols of mine that he shot for the first time.

Great interview.  I have to think a 5.56mm SBR or pistol is a great use case for developing a handload to minimize muzzle flash and noise.
Normally I’m of the school that you shouldn’t ever use hand loads for defensive use (lots of reasons, but Massad Ayoob summarizes it well).  I practice that for EDC.
Though for a “truck gun” which is designed for a semi-SHTF situation where you ditch your vehicle and walk home on foot, I think a lot of legal best practices might be less of a concern.
