Sights For Your Handgun and Holsters (cont.)  A few more thoughts on holsters and different carry methods, then I transition into selecting sights for your gun.  There’s a huge difference between sights for your carry gun and sights for your target gun.

Highlights:

  • More on holsters like fanny packs, coat carry, vest carry and purse carry.
  • Pocket holsters.
  • Why I don’t like gun vests.
  • Concealed carry sights vs. target sights.
  • Concealed carry belts.
  • XS Big Dot Sights.
  • Warren Sevigny Competition Sights.
  • Black on black target sights.
  • Fiber optic front sights.
  • Will you even use your sights?
  • Point Shooting.

Thanks for listening,

Good show. I have listened to several of your podcasts and I am impressed with your knowledge. I do want to ask you about something you did not cover in the use of different sights episode # 25. The use of laser sights or laser grips. Many agencies in law enforcement and the military use lasers. What is your opinion of them? Some companies actually sell them on the gun itself. (Kimber 1911 crimson carry, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, etc.)Thanks.

Good comment and thanks for listening. I will incorporate this into a podcast soon. I do have some thoughts on laser grips and laser sight inserts that go into the same spot as the recoil assembly. Stay tuned and thanks for the comment.
