Small guns are so popular these days. For me, not for primary carry, but certainly for back up guns. So this week I review the S&W M&P Shield, Walther PPS M2, Glock 43, S&W 642 Performance Center, Ruger LCP II and Kahr P380. More to come in the near future.
This episode is about thinking. In other words, thinking about the risks you take when carrying a gun. Thinking about the situations you might be in. Planning ahead. We don’t discuss hardware or training much, but rather we discuss situational awareness. I talked with Jon Payne about this subject.
Single stack, slim 9mm pistols that are pocketable seem to be the most popular self defense pistols on the market today. I own 2 very nice guns, the Kahr PM9 and the Shield 9mm. Both are superb. But Jon Payne and I have a difference of opinion as to which is best. So we analyze both of these little guns and also talk about open carry.

The court of public opinion, internet usage for gun carries and listener voice mails regarding SIGs, Glocks and pocket .380’s are all topics in this episode.
I was a guest on the Roadgunner Podcast last week and Chaz and I talked about concealed carry, a couple of guns, training, busting off the X, moving and shooting and more. You’ll enjoy it. I also begin with a voice mail regarding small guns.
